No dia 23 de março de 2022, pelas 14h30, a Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design acolhe a MONSTRA Universitária, extensão da MONSTRA | Festival de Animação de Lisboa, no Auditório Luís Soares.
A MONSTRA Universitária leva curtas-metragens selecionadas das melhores universidades de animação do mundo às escolas, universidades artísticas e técnicas para dar a conhecer os primeiros passos na animação de realizadores internacionais e, deste modo, inspirar o gosto pela animação nos estudantes portugueses.
A MONSTRA Universitária 2022 convida três instituições universitárias do Reino Unido e da Bulgária, nomeadamente, a National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts (NAFTA), New Bulgarian University (NBU) e a National Film and Television School (NFTS).
