The Degree in Cinema and Audiovisual (LCA) includes a theoretical and practical component in its study plan, in the use of tools viewed from a creative and aesthetic point of view, promoting conceptual and methodological creation in two domains: the technical, through the practice of using equipment, which is seen as creative and aesthetic tools; the artistic, through the study and reflection of concepts in the visual arts, namely in the areas of image, sound and lighting. The study plan includes a group of curricular units in the fundamental areas of cinema, audiovisual, visual studies and design.

  • Graduates will have the skills to perform roles in the areas referred to in APTA (Portuguese Association of Audiovisual Technicians) documents, both in the Cinema and Audiovisual sectors (image and sound recording, lighting, and editing)
  • sound studios (production and post-production operators)
  • press and advertising support (audiovisual production and post-production)
  • schools (teaching*, senior technicians with image and sound skills), and independent audiovisual operators. In addition to the Certification of Pedagogical Skills (CCP)

Two entrance exams: (12) History of Culture and Arts and (18) Portuguese or (13) English and (18) Portuguese or (12) History of Culture and Arts and (13) English. Minimum Requirements: Application Score: 95 points; Admission Exams: 95 points; Group M Prerequisites - Vocational Ability.
