The School of Media Arts and Design, which belongs to one of Portugal's largest and most prestigious public Polytechnic Institutes, the Polytechnic of Porto (P.PORTO), is located in Vila do Conde/Póvoa de Varzim and offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in Audiovisual Communication Technology, Graphic Design and Advertising, Industrial Design, Multimedia, Photography and Web Information Systems and Technologies.
ESMAD also offers masters degrees in the following areas:
— Audiovisual Communication, with specialisms in either: Photography or Documentary Film, Audiovisual Direction and Production;
— Design (including: Graphic Design, Product/Industrial Design and a range of other possible specialisations);
