The Technical Short Cycle Degree in Motion Design and Visual Effects (MDEV) aims to confer superior professional qualification in the area of design and realization of motion design projects, and visual and sound effects applied to different media and formats transversal to the areas of audiovisual, multimedia, and communication design.
Students have the opportunity to engage with various 2D and 3D animation applications, composition, visual and sound effects, video and sound postproduction, and motion capture and synchronization technologies and applications in a highly welcoming, creative and productive environment.
The competences acquired in the course will be applied, within the context of curricular internship, at partner companies, operating in areas such as Cinema, Television, Audiovisual Production or Multimedia. In this way, students will be able to reinforce and put into practice the assimilated skills, increase their network of contacts and initiate a relation of proximity with the culture and business environment.

The following may apply for higher professional technical courses: Holders of a secondary education course or legally equivalent qualification; Candidates who have passed the specially designed tests designed to assess the ability to attend higher education for those over 23 years of age, held for the course in question, under the terms of Decree-Law No. 64/2006, of March 21; Holders of a technological specialization diploma, a higher professional technician diploma or a higher education degree, who wish to requalify professionally.
