The degree is based on a contemporary and multidisciplinary view of the Web, adding skills focused on the conception, design and development of products and software for the Web. It seeks to provide students with knowledge and practical skills that allow them to master emerging areas such as services centered on the cloud, mobile and ubiquitous computing, or Web and electronic business platforms, without ignoring today fundamental skills, such as ergonomics and interaction design, usability and user experience or prototyping digital platforms.

This characteristic of combining skills related to product development with emerging concepts related to the design of interfaces (user interface & user experience) is a distinguishing feature of this degree and one of the reasons for its great success!

This is also an area of activity where employability is close to full employment. According to a study carried out in 2019 with the graduates of this degree, the unemployment rate was 0%, that is, there was a situation of full employment!

The course also presents an eminently practical aspect, as demonstrated by the projects included in its curricular study plan since the 1st year, as well as a strong connection to the business environment. Proof of this is the wide range of technological partners of the course, such as IOTech, ikuTeam, Helppier, Xing, Zalox, Ground Contro Studios, e-Goi, Nonius Software, BindTuning, FMQ, Increase Time, Interactive Brand, InovaMais, TechPitch, Blip , GoWeb, Virtual Planet, INESC_TEC, Samsys, MGS, Celfocus, touchIT, MOG Technologies, among others..
