COME AND SHARE THE MEDIA ARTS ON THE SEA OF PORTUGAL
The MAD SUMMER SCHOOL is held in the facilities of the School of Media Arts and Design located in Vila do Conde and results in the aggregation of several workshops and masterclasses related to an annual theme “Discovering the Unseen”. Taking place in the Portuguese north coast of Vila do Conde and Póvoa de Varzim, the MAD Summer School offers advanced masterclasses by renowned tutors in combination with an exciting program of film screenings, evening talks, concerts and a group exhibition, during “Curtas Vila do Conde” International Short Film Festival.
AN INTENSE AND ENJOYABLE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Each 5 day program will be punctuated by a dynamic mix of masterclasses, workshops, conferences, screenings and studio sessions. In addition, the Summer School offers activities such as surfing, paddle, running, yoga, concerts and parties.
Based in Vila do Conde and Povoa de Varzim we will create a creative environment ideal for sharing ideas and practices, and also an enjoyable framework for teaching, learning and the development of ideas.

The applications for the MAD Summer School 2018 are now open and will close 30th april 2018. The results of the selection process will be communicated until of 7 may. The participants must confirm their participation until june 18th.
