The Covid-19 pandemic is still a reality that we will face in the near future. It is expected that in June, the borders and flights will still be closed or limited and research centers and universities in many countries will still forbid their researchers and professors from traveling abroad.
Given this overwhelming and terrible reality, it is with great sadness that we inform you that the 1st edition of ICPEC will not be able to take place as a physical Conference. Thus, the ICPEC’20 organization decided to perform a virtual conference that will take place on June 25 and 26.
Despite this great constraint and the problems caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, we confirm that:
- all accepted articles with registration will be published in the proceeding books published by OASics series
- all authors that present their papers will receive a presentation certificate
- authors of the best papers will be invited to extend their articles for publication in the MDPI special issue.
- the best paper and the best presentation will be rewarded
The details for the virtual presentation of the papers will be shared soon.
ICPEC aims to be a space for researchers and teachers to discuss topics that promote new methodologies, best practices, trends, techniques and tools to improve the teaching and learning process of computer programming.
Conference proceedings will be published by OASics and the best articles in a Special Issue titled "Computer Programming Education" from Information Journal (MDPI).
